GOOD LUCK YOUTH EXHIBITORS!!!

Erin-Sadie-Bareback-Blue-co.jpg

Sadie and Erin hit the showring again in 2010! Moving up to the next age division this year, we wish this pair the best of luck!

Graysie gets a turn too!

Graysie-show.jpg

Graysie makes her debut in the ring this year. She loves to trail ride but this is all new to her so Erin is letting her "borrow" Sadie as she learns about showing. Good luck girls, have fun and keep smiling!

Nice socks!

Girls just wanna have fun!

Whether it is after a show or after Sadie gets home from Quadrill practice for the World Equestrian Games ... the girls take over, and Sadie always takes good care of them!

Youth-Clinic-Lawson-5.jpg

If you missed the youth clinic, you missed a great day of learning at Stoner Ridge Farm! We went over showmanship, conformation, horsemanship, riding in the ring and working with obstacles- just for starters. Then we had pizza for lunch and went right into DRESSAGE, Barrels, and Poles. I think we have got some serious competitors that will be working on these new skills so watch for them this year! The kids did great and the adults enjoyed learning too. I know Erin was just happy working with dressage and getting to canter and it being okay!!! It was a fun filled day with our horses and everyone had a great time! Thank you so much to the Stoner Ridge Farm crew for opening your facility for our youth!

Working on obstacles. From walking through and backing the L, gaiting through the cones and playing with the huge ball, they learned the right way to approach and complete these obstacles and more .

Rated Trail Clinic 2010

Youth-wanna-play-ball.jpg

Having a ball?! Sadie really liked the big ball that was part of the items found at the rated trail clinic in Bowling Green. This pair enjoyed the day learning to navigate new obstacles and they had a ball doing it! Thank you Jan for allowing the kids to participate!

Erin-Beth and Sadie

ERinSadieawards.JPG

Erin-Beth and Sadie are just a great team and a joy to watch. Whether they are in the showring, on the trail or just fooling around on the farm, they have learned so much together! We are so proud of them! Congratulations on back to back Ashley Hytry Youth Awards 2008 and 2009! What a fabulous International show for Erin-Beth and her mare Sadie! They placed first in Showmanship, Equitation and Western Pleasure which resulted in Erin-Beth being honored with the 2008 Ashley Hytry award. They also took Reserve in the Youth Trail Pleasure Championship. What a great team! They returned to the ring in 2009 and were awarded the Ashley Hytry Award again! Back to back titles.... Way to go ladies!

Erin and Sadie had another great year and were blessed with another great show. This is just after taking the blue in the youth showmanship class. Looking sharp ladies!

Just having fun...

This is where you will frequently find this pair. Out for a afternoon ride on the farm. Excuse the completely inappropriate riding attire, where is your helment?!
