MR MARCUM

When you ask who my favorite horse is, I have one answer...Mr Marcum. As a strong and confident partner, he is my trail mount, the horse I learn with and teach with, and a true companion. I think I am his biggest fan, but he is a loved by all!

Richie Wingfield is truly gifted in working with horses. If you ever have an opportunity to go to one of his clinics, do it!! We were fortunate to have learned about Richie Wingfield Horsemanship several years ago and now Donnie is one of his certified instructors. Our horses are so much better because of everything that we are able to teach them. Mr Marcum was one of the first horses we took to Richie's clinic and he was a great student!

Mr. Marcum wins the 2008 RMHA International Stallion Championship!!! What a great year, what a great show. We have always loved Mr. Marcum and believed that he is a wonderful example of a Rocky Mountain stallion. He proved to be exactly what we had anticipated with an outstanding show season. His grand finale came as he captured the 2008 RMHA International Stallion Championship. From his disposition to his gait and all points in between he is just a joy to be around! You should see his offspring...

We saddle up and hit the trails of course! We enjoyed a true family vacation complete with a cabin, hot tub, gorgeous trails, and perfect weather! Mr. Marcum loved the trails and was a perfect gentleman as always. From RMHA International Stallion Champion in September to an awesome trail mount in October. I have often heard people say that you can't trail ride your show horses, gosh I sure hope no one tells our horses that!

Do you think he enjoys showing? Definitely! Mr Marcum just keeps winning year after year. He doesn't mind the ribbons the noise or the photo ops!

Donnie and Mr Marcum just doing their thing on the farm along the banks of Green River. 100% natural gait - no photo enhancement required! We invite you to come ride him anytime. His first foal crop was born in '07 and is passing the disposition, conformation and gait on to his foals. (Not to mention that beautiful head.) You may think you have the perfect stallion but you never really know what a treasure you have until you start riding his offspring! Mr Marcum keeps proving himself as a sire of several incredible horses including: Meet Miley Marcum who will be doing distance rides and MVR's I Am Legend who will be standing at stud in Italy. Currently 2 yearling geldings MVR's Roman Road & MVR's Bold Witness and contracts for his 2011 foals are available.
