Jaggers' Jezel

We are pleased to offer this wonderful 3 year old black filly for sale for the first time. Her barn name is Jezzie and she was foaled here at Marcum Valley. This filly is out of Red's Girlie (a Toby's Mountain man mare) and by Maple's Squirell's Legacy (a chocolate cream stallion-as a breeding prospect, we believe Jezzie carries cream as well.) Beautiful Rocky Mountain head, stocky build, easy keeper. She is KY born & bred eligible and ready for competition! Started early this spring with round pen work, Jezzie has a solid foundation and trail experience continues. All of our horses are exposed to the river and as you can see, water is not an issue! Jezzie is very well gaited and will cover some ground. Great distance prospect or rated trail mount. Perfect for those KY born and bred competitions. No limits to her versatility! Introducing.....BB DOC! This is a gorgeous dark chocolate gelding with matching hind socks, a star & snip. Doc is well built and a perfect size. Extensive ground work has given Doc an excellent foundation. He has gained trail experience this year has proven to be extrememly calm. Doc is very willing, goes in and out of water, up and down banks through obstacles, he does everything he is asked to do. Not familiar with riding a gaited horse??? If you can sit in the saddle... this guy will gait!!! Doc is up to date with coggins & health certificate. Trail experience continues but don't wait too long. MVR's Roman Road is super laid back, he leads, loads and unloads off trailer, has been bathed & trimmed and doesn't mind any of it. This gelding has a great temperment, very easy to handle and willing to please. Roman takes obstacles in hand with ease. This gorgeous Rocky will be ready to start in the spring. MVR's Roman Road is the yearling version of MVR's I Am Legend. He is also the youngest brother of Meet Miley Marcum. You can see both of these in photos below...This cross (Mr Marcum x Choctaws Custom Chrome) has produced amazing offspring and MVR's Roman Road is another fine example! Roman will make a great lifelong companion and is currently offered for sale.

MVR's I Am Legend- SOLD

Legend is the only 2 year old chocolate stud colt for sale by the 2008 International Stallion Champion Mr. Marcum. This fabulous colt that has a beautiful head like the rest of Mr Marcum's foals. He is very natural and has been gaiting from birth. His dam is a big chocolate mare named Choctaw's Custom Chrome and she is an amazing cross to our black stallion Mr Marcum. Legend should mature at 15 to 15.1. This 2 year old is in the barn and has been started! He is very impressive and has a great mind. Unlimited show and/or trail potential. Jaggers' Promise Keeper RMHA # 2008041724 WOW! This 3 year old chocolate gelding is simply awesome. He is a full brother to Marcum Valley's Sister Sadie who is our daughter's horse. Together they won the Ashley Hytry Award in 2008 and 2009. Promise Keeper is a big well built gelding that is ready to start at anytime. Meet Miley Marcum- SOLD

This 3 year old filly is a great example of what we strive to produce here at Marcum Valley. KY born & bred, Miley is by Mr. Marcum and her dam is Choctaw's Custom Chrome. Both parents are available for viewing and riding. Miley gaits at will and has that must have Rocky disposition. She is a beautiful dappled chocolate with a white mane and tail which is a definite bonus. Miley stands, leads, loads and backs off the trailer with ease, ground ties, stands for baths and to be clipped. Miley is super smart and willing to please. She would walk into the house if only I would open the door and invite her inside! This filly is the epitome of the Rocky Mountain horse! Just when you decide to keep one... someone comes along that is a great match! Talk of the Tevis cup still gives me chills! Congratulations to our new friends, Carolyn and Jim!!!
